Just showing COMTRANS-2017 the newest "boss" PRO UAZ, Ulyanovsk automobile plant did not stop there and on September 22 was shown during the meeting of the Presidium of the state Council on the safety of passenger transport number of pilot passenger models built on the platform of a new commercial vehicle. The school minibus to transport 14 children with a body frame of the type originally proposed in two versions according to the type of drive – rear only (4x2) and full (4x4). This version of the minibus meets all the requirements for the buses to transport children within the framework of the technical regulations "On safety of wheeled vehicles". The workers promise to start supplying the school minibus models in 2018.

Ambulance (the ambulance car class C) is designed to move and operate the resuscitation team, transportation and monitoring the status of severe patients in the prehospital setting. Respectively on the chassis UAZ PRO mounted modular unit, providing physicians the best ergonomics of the medical compartment.

According to Vadim Shvetsov, UAZ platform PRO allows you to create a wide range of vehicles with different modules and add-ons, allowing the brand UAZ to enter into a variety of new market niches. Starting next year, customers will be able to evaluate the effectiveness and comfort of customized solutions on the chassis UAZ PRO, said Shvetsov.

Judging by the photos, the van series UAZ PRO turned out quite nice, in particular due to the exterior of the front end with the original grille, not repeating the illogical part of the cargo of the model. Such stylistic diversity is welcome – from potential buyers, and passengers, the original form of a minibus will not cause associations with a truck that, for example, was an obvious drawback for "Gazelle".

I must say that the establishment minibus (and tsmf) version on the chassis of the PRO suggests as a matter of course. By the way, in conversation with the hostesses we were waiting during the exhibition COMTRANS I hinted that the development of such models is already underway. So the rapid appearance of a van (albeit only in the school version) in hardware on the chassis PROFI pleases – Oise begins to work more quickly to meet the needs of the market, and this gives us confidence in its successful future.
