The analysis showed that today the best among all foreign models of light commercial vehicles (LCV) on the Russian market, the lowest cost of ownership in operation for over 3 years and the mileage 120 000 km was the Ford Transit.

High performance is confirmed by the preferences of the buyers. For example, according to the results of sales for 11 months of 2019 Ford Transit occupies a leading position among foreign models of commercial vehicles (more than 11 thousand according to the "AUTOSTAT info").

P.S. frankly, I've always been a fan of this model LCV the optimal in terms of price/quality/functionality. In my opinion it (the third generation), it was necessary to develop Gas in the Soviet Union (with appropriate modifications) and then the country received a quality as "the Zhiguli" the lorry and not home-grown "GAZelle" at the beginning of production but more like a designer DIY. Subsequently, this surely would give a production branch of "Ford"... but the current version with the release of current models, at least based on the sets from the Ford plant in Kocaeli, the Turkish proved to be quite viable, because it is the "Ford Sollers Elabuga" was the only remaining production site for the production of Ford vehicles in Russia (production of heavy trucks F-Max on Kaliningrad "avtotore" is still too small)..
