In the latest Forbes Top 50 among the largest companies in Russia in 2018, more than 50% foreign ownership in the Top 3 after the leader – Auchan trading company, entered automotive company Toyota Motor (Russia 2020) with revenue in the amount of ₽313,2 billion (+15% by 2017), but with only a 2% share of Russian revenues in the global revenue of the company. Then in the Top 5 included Volkswagen Group (in Russia since 2003) revenues in the amount of ₽to 289.2 billion (+21.7 percent, the share of 2%).
In the Top 10 at the 8th place was Kia Motors (since 2008) with ₽232,4 billion (+36.3 per cent, the share of 8%).
Then in the Top 25 included: on 13-th place Hyundai Motor (Hyundai Motor CIS) since 1994 ₽176,2 billion (6% share of 1.4%); 14 – Daimler (Mercedes-Benz) since 1995 with ₽149,5 billion (+5.4%, the proportion of 2.6%); 16-m – Renault (Renault Russia) since 1998 with ₽137,3 billion (+8.8%, with the share of 3.2%); 17-m – BMW Group (BMW Rusland trading) since 1999 with a long way 123,6 billion (+22,8%, the share of 1.7%); on 19th – Nissan (Nissan manufacturing Rus) in 2004, with ₽USD 114.9 billion (+8,6%, share of 1.7%);

22-m – Mitsubishi Motors (MMC Rus and Mitsubishi motors) in 2004, with ₽108,8 billion (100,7%, the proportion of 7.4%).
Then in the Top-50 on the 35th place- Volvo (since 1998) with ₽73,3 billion (+33,1%, the share of 2,6%); 36-m – Ford Motor (Ford Sollers holding) since 1996 with a long way to 69.4 billion (+3.4%, and the share of 0,7%) and in 42-m – Jaguar Land Rover (since 2006) with ₽56 billion (+18.2 per cent, the share of 2.7%).

To automobile with some stretch can be attributed to Japanese engineering company Komatsu (2006), situated in the ranking to 39th place with ₽65 billion (+37,7% share of 4.4%). She sells (and even assembled in Russia) dump trucks and cranes, so it can be considered a automobile.
The greatest revenue growth last year, Mitsubishi showed – more than two times, and the largest share of Russian revenues in the global sales of Kia and with a small gap from her Mitsubishi. In contrast, the low growth and low share of Russia in the revenue – Ford. It is also characteristic that almost all foreign (and de jure as well) automakers (except JLR) has Assembly facilities in Russia.

However, Daimler (until 2019) and they produce only Volvo commercial vehicles, respectively, in Naberezhnye Chelny (OOO "DK BROWN" – top photo) and in Kaluga (JSC "VOLVO VOSTOK" – photo below).

According to Forbes, companies are ranked by total revenues in 2018. The list does not include banks, insurance, leasing, investment and other financial companies. In addition, does not include companies whose activities are limited to managing assets.
PS In General it is quite logical results: Toyota, although not the leader in terms of sales, but sells some of the most expensive on average of models on the market (one Land Cruiser 200 and Lexus is worth, and not cheap mass production of sedan of business class Camry), and that gives her such a high revenue, also very regularly supported by regular revision of price upward. Obvious high dependence on Russian market such brands as Kia (but not its cousin Hyundai) and Mitsubishi, and the latter due to a sharp growth of sales in 2018, became dependent on the Russian market even more. On the contrary, despite the relatively solid sales at Ford, the share of Russian revenues in relation to the world meager and now ranks third from last spot in the Top 50 of all companies in Russia. And yet what is a Baker's dozen sellers of cars among other foreign companies ran into that talks about the importance of the automotive market for the economy of our country..
