The reduction of import duties on LCV will be able to help, first of all, the brands Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen and Fiat to increase sales of imported models of this class. However, fundamental changes in the LCV market are unlikely, as the lead in this segment is still the Russian brand GAZ, UAZ and LADA, as well as those foreign manufacturers who have localized Assembly of its cars in Russia, in particular, the joint venture Ford-SOLLERS in Yelabuga (series Ford Transit) and Daimler AG (build vans Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Classic in Nizhny Novgorod on the capacity of the AZ GAS).
