Prime Minister Medvedev has extended subsidies for the purchase of CNG vehicles

A draft resolution extending the program of subsidizing the sales of CNG vehicles in 2018, introduced by the Ministry of industry and trade of Russia, signed by Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev March 30, 2018 in the form of a Resolution of the Russian government.

According to the Decree the state will go to the producers of such equipment provided that the customer discounts on cars, buses and equipment for housing and communal services, wheeled tractors and other equipment made before 1 December 2017, implemented in particular through dealers and manufacturers, in the amount of discount from the price, but not more than the amount of the subsidy established the signed resolution.

In order to stimulate sales of equipment that use natural gas as a motor fuel from the government reserve Fund has been allocated a budget appropriation in the amount ₽2.5 billion on the provision of such subsidies. This will further implemented in 2018, not less than 2.5 thousand CNG vehicles.
