Today Scania holds for the media test drive gas trucks

The company "Scania-Rus" holds on August 29-30 on the Dmitrov avtopoligone a test drive for the specialized media full range of trucks Scania CNG NTG on gas fuel for Russia. 

In the number presented on a dynamic test of machines: two truck tractor Scania R410 А4х2 and another of the same and as part of a convoy with a semitrailer Koegel;  truck tractor Scania G410 A6x4; garbage truck Scania P340B6x2*4;special car. Scania CNG P410B6X4HA with hooklift system type "Multilift" Palfinger GT 26.

In the static display was submitted by:tractor unit Scania G410 A4x2 ADR FL; tractor unit Scania G410 A6x2;dump truck Scania G410 B8x4*4;van refrigerator truck Scania P280B6x2*4. 

Interestingly, the newest truck platform "cone" type is already implemented and September 2 should be transferred to the customer, and the refrigerator was first LPG truck Scania sold in the Russian market in February 2015.  

As told on a press-conferences the General Director Wojciech Rowinski the use of natural gas fuel gives 50% savings on fuel, increase engine and reducing emissions of CO₂ 15-90% and run with stock environmental standards Euro 6 without the use of AdBlue and so on (for example, a significant reduction in tariff rate system "Platon" for gas trucks and a discount on the vehicle tax). In Russia Scania plans to promote gas converted versions of their engines on compressed natural gas and biogas (bio-methane) CNG and liquefied natural gas – LNG. The latter gives a radical increase in mileage on one filling. Today for the Russian market offered three models of Scania engines: two 9-liter capacity of 280 and 340 HP, and the gas version of the new 13-liter engine capacity 410 HP
