"Scanners" won the final of the competition Scania Top Team in Russia

In Golitsyno held the final of the national stage of the competition at the service Scania TOP Team

On the territory of the official dealer of Scania "Scania Service"was held on February 16, the final national stage of the competition at the service Scania TOP Team. According to the results of competitions the first place of 7 teams was the team of "Scanners" from "Scania Service", scored 143 points out of 250. The team won the right to represent Russia at the regional stage of competition in the Italian city of Trento.

Two qualifying rounds of competition of professional skill of service personnel, Scania TOP Team 2017-2018 took place in November and December 2017. In them was attended by 47 teams from the dealer network of "Scania-Rus".

"During the contest, emotions were running high, but the team is managed smoothly, professionally and calmly approach the tasks and efficiently complete all tasks. Our team first participated in the competition Scania TOP Team, and despite the high level of professional skills, we do not expect such high results, and the victory that was for us a pleasant surprise," commented the victory of the captain of the team "Scanners" Oleg Khomenko.

In the final, the participants performed the tasks on seven stations, which combined theory and practice. On these stations, teams were awarded points for the correct answers or lose them for errors. For the passage of each station it was possible to score maximum points – 50. On the first and fifth stations, competitions were held in the form of entertainment. Teams had to demonstrate their solidarity and team spirit, and just to show how the development of skills in adults mechanical engineering. The remaining exercises consisted of a station with different hardware (bus Scania Touring, tractors of the new generation Scania and DGS), and participants had to identify the technical failure of these units.

"The competition we began to prepare with the mid-October 2017. The hardest part was to organize teamwork, because each of the participants is an expert in its field and used to working alone. It was necessary to teach everyone to work in a team. On the competition we are faced with difficulties in particular tasks on the Scania new generation, and same system of neutralization of exhaust Euro 6, as this system recently appeared on the Russian market and not familiar with the mechanics of our services. I am sure that we won first place thanks to hard training and teamwork," – said the coach of the team and engineer the guarantee of OOO "Scania Service" Konstantin Mishin.

The team of "Scanners" will take part in the qualifying round among the top teams in the European stations, the contest will be held in Trento (Italy) from 27 to 29 April 2018. At the end the two best teams of the qualifying round of Europe will take part in the world final Top Team 2017-2018, which will be held in December 2018 year training center Scania in södertälje (Sweden).
