New LCV market in August, grew by 14%

 According RAMR in August 2018 implementation of new light commercial vehicles and pickups with GVW up to 3.5 t (LCV) reached 10.5 thousand, showing an increase of 14.1% compared with the same month of 2017.
For the first eight months of 2018 the sales of new LCVs increased by 7.1% compared to the same period in 2017, reaching 77,3 thousand
GAZ in January-August to 32.1 thousand sold LCV, which is 9.2% more than the same period last year, taking 41.5 per cent of the market.
The sales decline in January-August of 2018 showed two brand – Oise (-15,1%) and Toyota (-18,2%).
Although sales of LCV of Russian brands in January-August of 2018, and showed an increase of 0.5%, their market share decreased by 4.1%.

In the corporate segment of HCV, the overall picture is the same – but the new and used models of large trucks are more expensive than the market in General, respectively, 1% and 8.4%. In relation to used trucks this difference is due to the orientation of customers on a more recent machine.
