The market of new buses in June of this year, according RAMR jumped by 42.9% compared to the same month last year, due to the implementation of 1.0 thousand new buses.

For the first six months of 2018 the sales of new buses increased by 18.9% and amounted to 6.3 thousand units.

The market leader remains the Pavlovsky bus plant, which in January-June 2018 accounted for over half of sales of new buses (50.8 per cent). The sales volume of buses the GROOVE of the brand increased by 6.7% compared to the same period of 2017 to 3.2 thousand while maintaining the dominance of the model-a veteran of the GROOVE-3205 (24% market share and 27% from domestic models), sales of which grew by almost 20%.

Second and third places in terms of sales of new buses in January-June 2018 hold, respectively, the brands LiAZ and NefAZ. Thus, sales of buses LiAZ for the period amounted to 1.1 million (+22,2%) and buses NEFAZ – 0,4 million (+33.3 per cent).

Diaz in the leaders suddenly returned model veteran "5256" with the growth of 8.7 times, and the NefAZ basic series "5299" with more than half the growth.

The top bus brands in the Russian market was closed by Chinese Yutong with a 3-fold increase to 0.3 million of which the lion's share was the model "6119" with the growth of 2.7 times.

In fact, Chinese bus brands show in the first half of this year, an impressive growth rate (e.g. Golden Dragon 4-fold increase), although at relatively low actual sales. Their recognized specialization in long-distance liners, replacing used machines of European origin.
