According to forecasts of the analytical Agency OAO ASM-holding", announced at the conference "AUTOMOTIVE industry-2017" 19 December, the production of buses in Russia will grow in 2017 at 2,6% until 45 thousand

For 10 months of this year, the actual production was 34.1 million (+3.1 percent), at this, the share of Russian brands amounted to, respectively, 25.9 thousand (+2.3%) and Russian cars and 8.2 million (+5,9%). Characteristically, cars perked up in greater extent. However, they earlier, and fell more significantly – almost to a background level. Accordingly, at the end of 2017 years of domestic buses will be made 35 thousand, and cars, 10 thousand Export will be about 2 thousand cars. By the way, the trolleybuses will produce 220 units (+4.8 percent), and for 10 months they have produced 188 units (+51,4%).


The corresponding forecast figures for 2018: production – 50 thousand (+11.1 per cent), from their domestic buses – 39 thousand, cars – 11 thousand, export – 3 thousand

The sales of buses (including minibuses) for ASM-holding in 2017 is expected to reach 46 million (+3,6%), of which: domestic – 33 thousand Russian cars – 11 thousand, net imports 2 thousand In 2018 year forecast that the market – 50 million (+8.7 per cent), from them Russian brands will account for 34 thousand local foreign car – 13 thousand, and imported – 3 thousand.   


Looks more optimistic forecast from the marketing Agency Russian Automotive Market Research (RAMR). Thus, according to him, the sales of buses (excluding minibuses) in 2017, will grow by 5.3% to 11.3 thousand At this is the baseline forecast significantly reduced the share of the segment of medium-class buses with 31.6% to 26.4 per cent. The share of buses of this dimension will continue to decline in the medium term. At the segments of the buses of other classes – small, large and extra large will gradually increase.
