The reduction in the LCV market accelerated in June, almost 11%

According RAMR in June 2019 sales of new light commercial vehicles (LCVs)and pickups 1 decreased by 10.7% by June 2018 to 8.71 thousand
For the first half of 2019, the market of new LCV amounted to 52,24 thousand, which is 9.7% less than in the same period of 2018.

For the first half of 2019 the reduction in the LCV segment-cars was bigger than the domestic LCV segment, which has been seriously supported by the state program of preferential lending and leasing.

In January-June 2019 the leader of the market of new LCV GAS LCV sold 22.3 thousand, which is 6.7% compared to the same period last year.

Next is the Russian brand UAZ in Ulyanovsk, whose sales (LCV+pickups) for the half year decreased by 5.4% to $ 9.7 thousand of the Best of foreign brands have traditionally been Ford, who converted to 5.18 thousand LCV (+7,9%), mostly of a series of Transit assembled at the plant SOLLERS-FORD in the SEZ Alabuga.
The rate of growth in the LCV segment leader Renault (+32.4 per cent to 0.49 million) due to the success of "heel" Dokker and also Hyundai with +10,5% (to 0.42 million) model HD35 City. The greatest drop in sales of LCV showed the brand Mercedes-Benz – minus 62.5 percent (1.24 million) due to the stop Assembly of tsmf and vans of the Sprinter Classic in Nizhny Novgorod Gas capacity.

The Mitsubishi brand, presents only the L200 pick-up (April-went restyled model 2019), also a serious decline by 37.6% (to 0.88 million), and its competitor Toyota (Hilux pickup), on the contrary, increased by 0.7% (to 1.35 million).
