PSA said the new production change in Mangualde will start of April, earlier than planned due to the fact that the demand for the vans will increase. It will act, at least up to end 2018 year and its future is determined by sales of new versions. In last year Mangualde was built 53 600 vans, which is the highest in the four years, it said in a statement.

This week, PSA announced that its global sales of LCV (+LAV) including (1 August) brands Opel and Vauxhall increased by 15% and 476,5 thousand cars. According to the company it owns 20% Evropeiskogo of the LCV market.
