In the first half of 2018, the market of trailers increased by 40%

In June of 2018 the Russian market of trailers rose by 42.1% over the same period last year – it was implemented 3016 units of new trailers and semitrailers.
In January-June 2018 14 were sold 164 units of new trailers. Compared to the same period in 2017, the market grew by 40.3%.
The top 10 brands in the first six months of 2018 showed positive dynamics of sales. A leader in the market of trailers remains the German brand Schmitz, whose sales for the period increased by 8.2% to 1579 units.

However, the market share of the brand in the market is reduced – in January-June 2018 it amounted to 11.1%, and for the same period of 2017 to 14.5%.

Domestic manufacturer of semi-trailers NefAZ for the first six months of 2018 also showed sales growth of 2.2%, but the share in January-June of 2017 was higher (10.7 per cent) than in the first half of this year (7.8 per cent).

Continues to grow in the Russian market and share trailers-cars. For the first half of 2018 the sales of new trailers and semi-trailers of foreign brands grew by 57.5% and Russian – only 30.6%. Accordingly, the proportion of saturated with foreign cars and trailers during the period under review increased from 35.8% to 40.2%.
