The President prefers gas to electricity

President Vladimir Putin urged to pay more attention to the environment and to focus on gas-engine fuel

At a meeting with members of the government President Vladimir Putin suggested the future of transport: "it is Clear that we need more and more attention to environmental issues, we see the trends that are in the world economy to occur, in including the automotive industry, having in mind the significant use of electric vehicles." 

President Putin understands that electric cars are the future of the world, but believes that Russia is preferable to a motor vehicle

However, the conclusions from this trend at government level are different, as Putin explained that the use of LPG fuel from an environmental angle is really more important than the introduction of electric vehicles, because the current power generation is largely based on the old burning coal, and it is this fact reason enough to the attention of those behind the introduction of electrification of vehicles.

Technological problems for using natural gas in vehicles does not exist

Accordingly, the President intends to discuss the possibilities of using natural gas fuel in our country, in which reason is going to hear the President of the Board of Directors "Gazprom" Viktor Zubkov, who is also part-time and special envoy of the Russian President of interaction with the Forum of gas exporting countries.
