Federal interior Ministry of Germany (BMI) ordered 950 vehicles on the chassis MAN

In several tenders held in Germany in 2017 and 2018, the company Freytag Karosseriebau GmbH & Co. KG as General contractor, jointly with MAN Truck & Bus received from the office of procurement of the Federal Ministry of the interior (BMI) the most part of orders for supply of 950 cars for THW technical support.
A batch of 178 vehicles with technical equipment (GKW) was created on the proven chassis MAN TGM 18.290 4x4, spring suspension on both front and rear axles, double cab and a wheelbase of 4,200 mm. the delivery of the first 12 trucks 20 regional units of the THW has already taken place.

Part of another batch of 152 trucks with 3-way unloading MAN TGS 18.420 equipped with cranes-manipulators. The first cars were also manufactured and delivered in collaboration with the company Freytag.
Batch of 210 vehicles for technical assistance personnel (MLW) was created on the chassis MAN TGM 18.290 4x4 with leaf spring suspension at the front and rear axles and equipped with a double cabin and awning superstructure. Delivery of these vehicles, developed in collaboration with Freytag, will start in 2019.
Transmission customers 400 multifunctional car on the chassis MAN TGM 18.290 4x4 also with a spring suspension, will start in 2020.
Already fully implemented the order of the Ministry of internal Affairs for the delivery of 10 tankers (photo screensaver) for refueling of helicopter service by the Federal police. These new trucks allow you to fill almost a hundred at the disposal of the Federal police helicopters not only in the well-equipped airfields, but on a normal helipad. In the framework of the tender the order for the production of add-ons received by the company Rohr Spezialfahrzeuge. Tanker trucks performed on a chassis MAN TGS 18.420 with pluggable front-wheel drive MAN HydroDrive® and features leaf springs at the front axle and air suspension on the rear axle.
