At the exhibition Comtrans 2019 "GAZ Group" announced about the long-awaited start of the serial production and sales of new generation off-road medium-duty trucks "Sadko NEXT".

By the way here "Sadko NEXT" was awarded the prize "Future of 2019" on the 19th contest "Best commercial vehicle of the Year" held by the magazine "commercial vehicles".

The fourth generation of the famous line of off-road trucks GAZ legendary patency,

now combined with the modern handling on normal roads, high level of comfort in the cockpit, enhanced functionality and a range of modern technical solutions.

By the way, even earlier, in April, 2019, the company started manufacturing this model with right-hand steering (premiere of this version took place at the IAA'18 – on the photo) intended for the export markets of countries with left-hand traffic.

Truck GAZ "Sadko NEXT" fully retained the unique off-road capabilities of its predecessors, including good accessibility, high ground clearance, flexible twist frame, the lower gear and locking differentials front and rear axles, and tire inflation. At the same time in comparison with the predecessors substantially developed aspects such as handling, comfort and functionality of the car.

New truck Sadko was a spacious three-class cabin NEXT. The cabin offers cushioned driver's seat with anatomical support.

The load capacity of the car (chassis) has been increased to 3 tons, and fording depth up to 1.2 m (with snorkel). The truck can tow a trailer full weight up to 2.56 t

The car is equipped with a highly flexible diesel engine YAMZ-534 that allows you to move at minimum speed while maintaining high torque (a function of the cruise control with the function of adjusting the engine speed at idle). Engine power increased to 149 HP and a maximum torque of up to 490 N•m.

Good handling, ride and stability on the road give the car a new integral power steering combined with a new few-leaf front suspension.

Full air braking system provides effective braking with little effort on the brake pedal. Due to the possibility of pumping air from the compressor system keeps working even when a small leakage. Provides the bleed air for various add-ons, tire inflation and the use of the brake system of the trailer.
The car received the optional management of the upgraded gearbox with joystick and upgraded transfer case part-time with electro-pneumatic drive. Management control system tyre pressure is also carried out with the dashboard. The possibility of application of the power takeoff (COM) as the transmission and transfer case that allows you to simultaneously install a winch and a large number of special add-ons.

The load capacity of the car has increased by 1.5 times due to the reinforced frame of high strength steel, the new driveline, wheels with upgraded rims and new tires with increased carrying capacity and the front axle with new steering knuckles. While maintaining the traditional high reliability and durability of the whole structure preserved.
The basic package includes cushioned driver's seat with adjustable weight, electric Windows and heated mirrors. The car can be equipped with a second fuel tank volume 95 l, winch and snorkel.
The first in the new "Sadko NEXT" received, since the modification with a single-row cabin, and a standard (3770 mm) wheelbase. In 2020 it is planned to start production of vehicles with extended (4515 mm) wheelbase and seven-seat crew cab.
PS off-road three-ton "Sadko NEXT" promised for so long, so often the GAS show it on a wide variety of motor show that is not hard to believe that she finally got to the pipeline and showrooms.
