New grain FAW from black beauty

FAW starts sales of grain, designed specifically for the Russian market

Russian grain agribusiness is on the rise, so the emergence of new models of specialized trucks is not surprising, including the chassis of cars. So, the Chinese company FAW and the Russian coach building plant "avtomaster" presented at the exhibition "Golden Niva", held in Krasnodar on may 22-25 new truck-grain truck made on a truck chassis of FAW J6 3250 with the wheel formula 8x4.

New grain truck equipped with a body with a volume of 30 m3 with two-sided lateral unloading at an angle of ascent of the platform at 45 degrees. The truck can also tow a trailer-grain with the same volume of 30 m3. Overall dimensions of the truck are 8,4x2,4x3,2 m.

The presence of high strength axles and the frame allows the grain to carry up to 20 580 kg payload, in the trains – all 40 000 kg. It is also characterized by low maintenance cost. Advanced frame design ensures high strength and reliability of the machine.

The car is equipped with a modern 11-litre 390-horsepower diesel engine of ecological standard Euro-4 and has low fuel consumption and high durability.

The grain is already accepted. Its retail price is estimated at ₽5,785 million, which is below the level of prices in most market equivalents.



Head of representative office of "FAW – Eastern Europe", Mr. Sheng Min said: "the New grain-based production platform "avtomaster" we created specially for the southern regions of Russia. FAW has always attached great importance to the development of the brand in southern Russia, and the launch of this model, we support the policy of the Russian government for the development of the region. Southern Federal district is one of the most developed in Russia, but until recently, the FAW brand were not widely represented here. We are actively developing our dealer network in this region and hope that the novelties of our model range will help strengthen our presence in this part of the country and in the Russian market as a whole."

This year, FAW sold in Russia 300 trucks FAW J6 model, and for all his activities in the Russian Federation, the company sold 5 thousand trucks of FAW J6 series.

In the near future, FAW intends to further develop cooperation with the company "avtomaster". So, FAW chassis 3250 to produce a variety of special equipment, such as: dump truck for coal transportation, vehicles for transporting scrap and other materials. Also in the plans FAW – cooperation with the Russian company "SPM" in the field of production of airborne vehicles with a crane-manipulator (CMU) of different capacity and purpose, and with "Uralspetstrans" in the segment of trucks.
