China new IVECO Daily has won the award

Recently mastered in the production of IVECO China Daily was named "Chinese van 2018"

Jury of the "Chinese van of the year" consists of a group of journalists, including chief editor of Commercial Vehicle and Chairman, Yu Jing, illuminating the field of light commercial vehicles and also industry independent testing organizations.

Honorary award at the ceremony Beijing mid-January in the presence of representatives of the media and industry experts received CEO NAVECO Junhui Yang and Vice President of IVECO APAC Federico Bullo.

The release of a New China Daily, which is manufactured by NAVECO (a joint venture of IVECO in China) on a new world class manufacturing plant in Caoline (Nanjing), was inspired by the Daily the new generation, manufactured in Europe and won a prestigious competition "international van of the year 2015". The new China Daily was adapted with the needs of Chinese and Asian customers. It displays the Chinese LCV market for a new level by a combination of increased capacity, fuel economy and security high maneuverability, advanced networking capabilities and a modern exterior.

Series of the New China Daily suitable for both transport people and goods, and for special applications. Streamlined frame design LCV includes 4 different chassis and 27 types of bodies.

The jury of the award "Chinese van of the year" assessed the vehicle through standard testing methods of competition "international van of the year", and in compliance with it held a three-day dynamic and static testing of the vehicle. It included in itself, the acceleration place to 100 km/h, acceleration 60 km/h, emergency braking on dry surface and checking the noise level of the car. Among other evaluation criteria was technological innovation, safety, comfort, handling, economy and versatility.

Start of production of the New China Daily on plant Caoline

Also, the jury visited the new plant in Caoline. This industrial complex was inaugurated in July 2017 year and is one of the most advanced and environmentally friendly plants for the production of LCVs in China. It fulfills the requirements of the standards "world class Manufacturing WCM" in compliance with which, the main emphasis in the work of the enterprise done on quality and sustainable development that raises a new high level in Chinese automotive industry.
