On 22-th International exhibition of machinery and equipment for mining, beneficiation and transportation of minerals (it stands as the title of the exhibition Mining World Russia 2018 (April 17-19), traditionally held in the exhibition complex "Crocus Expo") of new products automotive mining equipment was quite a bit and the main exhibitors become a Swedish automotive company Scania AB and Volvo Trucks, whose dump trucks-trains with powerful protective visors stood at the entrance to the exhibition like prehistoric mammoths.

Thus, the company "Scania-Rus" showed at its booth a completely new for Russia dump truck Tipper Scania G440 Heavy B8x4HZ equipped with a 25 CC body for the transport of rock, as well as a full range of additional services, including a wide portfolio of contractual services, proposals for the monitoring of vehicle fleet and leasing services.

Special dump truck Scania Heavy Tipper is structurally established on the basis of a modular system and it has implemented a number of significant design innovations, and the number of components replaced. The car features a reinforced suspension and actual power transmission to improve the reliability, including a 13-litre DC13 diesel environmental class Euro-5, developing 440 HP and aggregated with reinforced gearbox GRSO935R developed specifically for heavy duty use in quarries and is equipped with an automatic control system Scania Opticruise. Reinforced rear leading trolley BT400S and bridges AMT800 in combination with the main transmission RBP900 provides a combination of reliable operation in more severe conditions with extended life of drivetrain components and suspension. Incorporated into the design modifications allow to increase the coefficient of technical readiness of a new dump truck at a substantial 5%, at the same time to extend its life cycle for 5000 hours. Accordingly, the operation of the car throughout its life will rise in a smaller amount, while the residual value will be higher than the other models.

The launch of a series of heavy truck Scania Heavy Tipper held in 2017 at the factory in the Brazilian state of são Paulo. Truck series Heavy Tipper allows up to 15 % reduction in cost per ton of transported material. In Russia the start of sales of this series Scania Heavy Tipper is yet scheduled for the second half of 2018, as part of a comprehensive solution for the mining industry.

In 2017, Scania has worked well in the segment of trucks designed to work in quarries and mines, and mountain-metallurgical enterprises. So, at the end of last year shipped a total of 324 units of such equipment, the buyers of which were made by 70 companies throughout Russia. In the result, Scania has taken 48% of European manufacturers in this segment of the market, increasing its share by 3% against the target of 2016.

In turn, Volvo Trucks presented two trucks designed to perform highly complex tasks on transportation of coal and rock.

Tipper Volvo FMX is designed for transportation of rocks, equipped with 22 CC body production of KH-Kipper. The thickness of its walls is 15 mm, and the floor – 10 mm, also provided powerful protection for the cockpit in the form of overlapping it on top of the visor (the particularity of dump trucks), and the spars are reinforced from engine to end of frame (dual profile). A car with day cab (the driver seat Comfort air suspension, and passenger "Standard") equipped with a 13-litre D13C diesel engine environmental class Euro-5, with a capacity of 460 HP and the automated 12-speed manual gearbox I-Shift with a decreasing number and Volvo engine brake VEB+. The machine is equipped with the transport information system Dynafleet, including the services of "Location" and "Fuel and environment". The driver facilitates black and white rear view camera V-light, digital tachograph, climate controls sensor of intensity of sunlight, cruise control, Insulation of the cabin for countries with a cold climate is strengthened, there is provided the auxiliary heater engine and cab with a capacity of 9 kW. Provided button emergency calling VAS. Vehicle warranty 12 months, unlimited mileage, plus an additional warranty on the engine, gearbox and rear axle for 12 months or 300 000 km total mileage, depending on what comes first.

Other truck Volvo FMX equipped with a 25 CC body Meiller for transportation of coal with thickness equal to 10 mm, and the thickness of the floor 8mm. body heat through the double floor. The length of the visor – 1/3 of the cab. Tailgate is automatically opening. In the rest of the chassis 8x4 with day cab's identical brother: the same 13-litre 460 D13C diesel, gearbox I-Shift and Volvo engine brake VEB+. The frame is also reinforced throughout the length of the double spars. Transport and information systems and equipment for comfort is no different from the other presented of the truck.

The Czech company "SDT-Impeks" showed the familiar 25-ton dump truck Tatra T158-8P5R36 6x6.2R series Phoenix (cab DAF CF) with a body volume 16 m3, with wall thickness on the sides 6 mm (steel Strenx 700) and 10 mm on the bottom (Hardox HB450). The truck is equipped with a PACCAR diesel MX300HD environmental class Euro-5. Here gearbox is no frills – a 16-speed manual ZF 16S 2230 TO with 2-stage DCT TATRA 2,30 TRK 0,76/1,44. The front suspension on the pneumocylinders, back combined – on the pneumocylinders and springs. Axial axles and differentials equipped with locks. Of course the main "raisin" of Tatra design is its spinal frame in the form of a powerful pipe and swinging axes, i.e. the suspension is fully independent, and the rotating transmission elements are protected from external influences. This gives the famous Tatra trucks to their increased strength, endurance, and maneuverability, so prized domestic energy companies.

Course on Mining attended the venerable manufacturer of quarry and road-building machinery – Belarusian "BelAZ", however, as always, presented their extensive lineup of dump trucks in large-scale models. However, it is not surprising, because over the last couple of decades can remember only a few cases when the Belarusian giants can be seen at the Metropolitan exhibitions live. However, according to the REP, they regularly carry their supernovae (each under a train, because taking the giants by rail in a disassembled form) in such cities as, for example, Krasnoyarsk and Yekaterinburg, ie closer to the "natural" consumer.

The range of dump trucks BELAZ, indeed, impressive. It includes dump trucks with loading capacity from 30 tons (model BELAZ-7540 with a body capacity of 15-21,7 m3) to a record 450 tonnes (BELAZ-7571). However, dump trucks of shortagesof model 7571 with dimensions of decent at home (20,5х10х8,3 m) are still just three instances – there is a consumption of the hardy, large-sized and expensive tire size 59/80R63, which is due to the articulated scheme such supergiant total weight 840,5 tons need 8 pieces. Nominal volume of the tipper body is of 164.5 m3 heaped 2:1 – 268,3 m3. In the movement of his lead two diesel MTU DD 16V4000 diesel engine with a capacity of 2300 HP At the same time, specific fuel consumption not more than 198 g/kWh.

By the way, for the first quarter of 2018, according to the manufacturer, it was shipped to 24 countries to 180.1% more. The export share was 96%. Exports to Russia increased by 161.8 per cent and in the CIS 409,7%). In addition to Russia in the CIS major deliveries were in Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Ukraine. Among Far abroad countries are Indonesia, Poland, Bosnia and Herzegovina. First brand equipment BELAZ was set in Bangladesh. The TOP 3 countries in terms of supply of equipment in physical volume since the beginning of the year are Russia, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. The largest share in the volume of shipments since the beginning of the year amounted to dumpers especially big load capacity: 110-130 tonnes – 42%, 220-240 tonnes – 20%, and 90 tons – 12%.

Several companies, such as GHH Fehrzeuge (Russian distributor OOO "XXG Fahrzeuge") presented on their stands of an articulated mine trucks.

But the most unusual was the underground self-propelled machine Miller Mine Cab to perform support work and transportation of personnel, created on the basis of a conventional Toyota Land Cruiser 70. This SUV produced since 1985, you'll be just legendary reliability, so it is not surprising that it created on its basis and the machine for movement on the shafts and thin layers of potash/ salt mines. On the stand of the Russian company JSC "INDEK" from St. Petersburg was presented two options with different add-ins: crew cab 3-5 seats and van with side seats for first aid. You can also install a variety of technological equipment, including the Cabinet of Ministers, lifts, etc..
