According to the report "Automotive market of Russia", presented at the IX RAMR "International Week of Lubricants – 2018" to 01.07.2018 the country is still a high proportion of vehicles with traditional gasoline and diesel engines.
In five years – by 2023, the situation in the Russian automotive Park will not change dramatically, just increase the proportion of diesel vehicles and engines to alternative fuels.
Thus, according to the baseline scenario RAMR, the number of cars with bi-fuel/gas engines (only conveyor production, i.e. excluding Poltavtseva conversion), for example, in the Park of LCVs, their share will grow from 133.3 thousand to 204,9 thousand (+54%)

and in the Park of trucks (MCV+HCV) will increase from 10.8 to 18.6 million (+72%).

The Park buses, it will increase from 17.4 thousand to 24.0 million (+38%), and the fleet of buses subject to capital programme transfer of public transport on Autonomous electric drive, will increase in 40 times!

According to experts RAMR radical changes on the market of cars on alternative fuels is possible only if a comprehensive state support buyers and producers. I.e. buyers have to overcome their prejudice against the dangers of alternative fuels is limited and filling (charging network) and to shell out for more expensive than base (petrol and diesel) cars and the manufacturers, consequently, fears that their capital investment in the production of such machines will be out of business due to low consumer demand.

The problem of wider use of NGV Topia can be solved with the help of mobile gas filling stations and modular AGNs (Intro)

It turns out that is to say, the dilemma of the "chicken and egg", the supposedly insurmountable without state intervention, however, for the state, I think it would be important not to thump the market a regular state subsidies, but simply to set out clear rules of the game for car manufacturers and auto service companies that converted cars to natural gas and liberalize the requirements of placement of AGNs in a residential area, etc.

Thanks to the capital programme for the introduction of electric buses their fleet in the next five years will grow to 40 times!
