KAMAZ will deliver to Moscow more than five hundred diesel buses NefAZ

Until the end of 2020 of JSC "KAMAZ" will perform a tender for the supply of "Mosgortrans" 511 buses NefAZ - 5299-40-52

The results won PJSC "KAMAZ" of the tender, the company will deliver the largest passenger carriers GUP "Mosgortrans" 511 units restyled diesel buses NEFAZ-5299-40-52 totaling ₽6.5 billion.
All equipment will be delivered incrementally in the period from 1 July to 30 November 2020. Under the terms of the contract, KAMAZ will transfer the capital 462 urban low-floor bus of large capacity (NEFAZ-5299-40-52),as well as 25 such buses with a cabin for the instructor and a 24 bus with automated tracking of passenger traffic. Integrated agreement includes training of drivers and repair personnel characteristics of maintenance and operation of rolling stock.

The Director of the Department of passenger transport of JSC "KAMAZ" Alexei Sergeyev noted that "Mosgortrans" is constantly working on updating the bus fleet, showing the highest requirements in the country for domestic manufacturers, supplying passenger transportation for big cities. He said: "This is not the first shipment of KAMAZ buses to the "Mosgortrans" – similar to the contracts concluded with us late last year. Now on the Moscow routes operates more than 600 buses, collected at "NefAZ", subsidiary enterprise of KAMAZ in Bashkortostan. These buses are in demand: the capital passengers daily using public land transport, leave positive feedback about our technology, noting also the interior comfort".

A restyled low-floor bus NEFAZ-5299-40-52 was put into production last year (his debut at the motor show ComTrans 2019). Bus-solo length is 12.4 m with a capacity of 111 guests, with 29 seats, eight of which are for priority categories of citizens (disabled, elderly and passengers with small children – ed.).
The machine is designed to meet all modern requirements for the safety and comfort of passengers. The exterior and interior of this model has been completely updated compared to the predecessor (albeit with the same underlying industry index, i.e., "5299" – ed.). The bus offers light spacious interior with wide storage space, comfortable handles with buttons to call the driver and USB chargers for gadgets, in addition, there is a ramp for wheelchairs arrival. Great attention is paid to equipment of a workplace of the driver: it received a chair for the air suspension and new ergonomic instrument panel.
