The growth of production of Isuzu in Russia in 2017 amounted to 122%

The production equipment on the plant in Ulyanovsk has increased to 5160 units against 2322 units a year earlier. On the company produced 3836 light chassis N-series (GVW of 3.5-9.5 MT), 1086 chassis medium-duty chassis F series (12-18 m) and 238 heavy trucks category and E (t 26-33). The most popular in 2017 was chassis Isuzu models NPR75 (1980 units, +38%), NMR85 (926 units, +18%), NQR90 (871 units, +17%) and FVR34 (744 units, 14%).

"The growth of production of trucks N-series was 133% year to year, and the F-series showed an increase of 60%. So convincing dynamics in the number was due to join with 2018 informed of the new requirements of the Customs Union, according to which all vehicles must meet the Euro-5 standard.

Naturally, this led to increase purchases in the third and fourth quarters of 2017 years, with cheaper technology level Euro 4, as many large customers made the decision on the acquisition of this technology", – commented the Director of the production of "Isuzu Rus" in Ulyanovsk Pavel Golovin.

2018 years factory Isuzu in Ulyanovsk was entirely on the release of cars of Euro-5 standard. "In connection with the transition to the Euro-5 standard, we expect the inertia of demand in the beginning of 2018 years, however, projected that it will recover in the second half. At the present time the plant works in dvumernom mode five days per week, an increase of shifts not planned", – also said Pavel Golovin.

In 2017 for certification testing on the plant had been collected the prototype of a light NMS85 chassis with the wheel formula 4x4 and a prototype chassis with a gas engine NPR82 (CNG).

Start of serial production is planned in NMS85 the first quarter of 2018 year and launch a series NPR82 scheduled for third quarter of 2018.

Both the prototype in the fall of 2017 years can be seen on exhibition COMTRANS-2017.

In cooperation with the company "Simaz" and the government of the Ulyanovsk region, the plant "Isuzu" Rus assembles chassis N-series for the production of urban and intercity public transport buses. The first samples have successfully passed the certification, is now entering serial production.

"Isuzu Rus" produces in the whole line of Ulyanovsk automobile chassis categories N F C E total weight of 3.5 to 33 T. the Production of heavy trucks (total weight of 30 tons and more) was open in may 2017.
