Cars-reducing LCV production in Russia

The LCV segment foreign  brands in Russia is declining in 2019

According to RAMR for today 89,1% of light commercial vehicles (LCV) in Russia is produced at five plants.

In the first seven months of 2019 Russian refineries increased their production of LCVs: GAS – 6.9%, UAZ – by 10.1%, AVTOVAZ – by 22.5%. Among them, only LADA showed the growth of sales on the Russian market of 7.7%.

Foreign manufacturers FORD SOLLERS ELABUGA and PSMA RUS in the period under review has reduced the production of LCVs by 1.1% and 6.9%, respectively. At the same time, sales of light commercial vehicles Ford Transit, on the contrary, has grown on 12,7%.
