GAZ group has launched a new bus for commuter traffic

Russia's largest manufacturer of commercial vehicles "GAZ Group", which in particular belong to bus factories PAZ, LiAZ and KAVZ, started serial production of buses in suburban new modification, designed specifically for the passenger carriers the Moscow region, Mostransavto. Until the mid-2020 Likino bus plant produced more than 630 such buses for delivery in the suburbs. Start of production of new machines gave directly the Governor of Moscow region Andrei Vorobyov.
The issue of commuter bus was deployed in the framework of the agreement between "GAZ Group" and the Moscow region Government on the development of transport infrastructure in the region, signed on 26 September Likinsky bus plant.

A new modification of the bus are tailored to the characteristics of the routes in Moscow region. Suburban semi-low floor bus of large class on the basis of urban nikopolska LiAZ-5292 is designed to carry 81 people, the number of seats increased from 28 to 42.

Instead of the usual urban machine with rigid anti-vandal seats, suburban version of the applied chairs with high backs with headrests, folding tables and mesh pockets on the back, and most importantly, they are equipped with seat belts that allows you to operate the bus on short intercity routes longer than 50 km, due to certification requirements for such transport.

In addition, the storage area is additionally fitted with mounts for wheelchairs and two folding seats. The kneeling system provides the slope of the bus body in the direction of the doors to facilitate boarding and alighting of all passengers. The bus has a low floor level in the center of both doors (by the way, the front half-shell and the second is double), which shortens the route by 15%. The machine is equipped with air-conditioning, video surveillance and emergency call system ERA-GLONASS.

Driver's seat has an instrument cluster with optitron the cluster, and the inclination of the display is adjustable along with the steering column.

Modern multiplex system in the auto mode, full diagnostics on all systems and components of a bus capable of transmitting data to the Park. For the convenience of passengers, the cabin is fitted with Wi-Fi routers and USB charging for gadgets.
The bus is equipped with modern domestic diesel engine YAMZ-536, corresponding to the 5th environmental class. The machine is maximally unified with the base model LiAZ-5292, which provides a reduction in the cost of service by 20%.
Cooperation with the Moscow region at the "GAZ Group" long-term. At the moment in the Park Mostransavto operates more than 4.9 thousand buses produced by "GAZ Group", which is about 89% of the total bus fleet. Among them over 700 cars (mostly model "Voyage" on chassis of Scania – ed.) specially manufactured considering the requirements of reliability and safety requirements for transportation services for international events, was used at the Olympic Games in Sochi 2014. After the Olympics, in the framework of the program "Olympic legacy", they were transferred to Mostransavto and went out on the routes of the Moscow region.
