In Naberezhnye Chelny started producing a new generation of srednetonnazhnye CANTER TF

At the production site "DAIMLER KAMAZ RUS" in Naberezhnye Chelny from 8 June 2018 has begun mass production of a new generation medium-duty truck CANTER TF Russian Assembly.

 the First batch of cars will hit the Russian market in July, when there will be the official start of sales. It is natural that clients will be able to participate in a series of test drives that will allow them to personally verify the competitive advantages of the new generation CANTERа.

 

Start the production of the new generation CANTER environmental standard Euro-5 in Russia was preceded by extensive research and testing. Thus, in the second half of 2017 was held large-scale rallies three cars FUSO CANTER TF. Start mileage was given in Vladivostok, then at the end of January 2018 sea trials moved to the North of Russia where the temperature reached -50°C. In aggregate, the three trucks were 350 000 km, it is adequately cope with all challenges. And yet the harsh operating conditions in Russia demanded a detailed study and the configuration of each node, component, and Assembly. Appropriate changes were made by engineers according to the results of the tests. So now CANTER a new generation fully prepared to implement any transport at all latitudes of the Russian roads.

 the MAIN ADVANTAGES of the NEW CANTER TF

The truck received a modern cabin with V-neck design of the grille and bumper painted in body color, fog lights and wide-angle mirrors. The cockpit design includes a system Fuso RISE (Realized Impact Safety Evolution – increased safety when beats). Its corrosion resistance is increased. Updated interior with an increased number of niches for things, Central locking with remote control, audio system and air conditioning  provides improved comfort for the driver and passenger.

Standard truck comes with ABS with EBD and ESP system (stability control). powerful exhaust brake (50 kW). Suspension of both bridges are equipped with stabilizer bars.

Equip CANTER TF modern 3-litre 4P10 diesel engine with a turbocharger of the ecological class Euro-5, 150 HP or 175 HP and MICRON, respectively, 370 N·m (at 1300 m^-1) and 430 N·m (at 1600 min^-1). Accordingly, a 150-strong motor is used for the model CANTER TF 7.5 t GVW 7.5 t, and 175-horsepower – on the model CANTER TF 8.55 t total weight, respectively, of 8.55 t 

The truck is equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission with optimized gear ratios to increase traction and improve speed performance. The new generation engine allows to reduce fuel consumption by up to 15% (compared to model Euro 4), which improves economic efficiency in the operation of the vehicle and reduces total cost of ownership of the vehicle. The exhaust gas after treatment system BlueTec® SCR to be installed on the 8.6-ton, 175-horsepower model allows to fulfill the Euro-5 standard. By the way, capacity of the chassis is raised to 6010 lbs. Chassis with a redesigned frame got a new wheelbase lengths: 3400, 3850, 4300 and 4750 mm. On the frame provided an increased number of mounting holes of different diameter, easy installation on the chassis of any type of add-ons. For the 7.5-ton model is the most suitable application in the form of a standard van, side car and the tow truck. Accordingly, the 8.6-tonne model is most appropriate under isothermal van or refrigerated truck with a tail lift, side car with crane, garbage truck, tow truck or other specavtotehnika.

 For the new truck provided extended warranty terms for 3 years or 200,000 km, except  that, the service interval is increased to 20 000 km. For a limited batch of vehicles intended for the first customers of the proposed service contract FUSO for 1 year or 60 000 km. the Official start of sales of the new CANTER TF scheduled for July 1, 2018.
