Brand IVECO won the "Africa Eco race 2018"

Company IVECO has won the last rally-RAID "Africa Eco Flight 2018" and showed good results on"Dakar-2018"

On the last two the most difficult rally RAID in the world, taking place on different continents: African rally-RAID "Africa Eco race" (the successor to the legendary "Dakar") in the category of trucks IVECO team won, but on the South American "Dakar–2018" the truck team PETRONAS De Rooy IVECO was in the top ten.

In the South American rally this year, IVECO, won together with Gerard de Roy on"Dakar" 2012 and 2016, won the most stages, but common the victory gave command "KAMAZ-master".

By the way, the Dutch pilot Tone van Genugten crossed first the finish line of the last stage of the rally "Dakar" winning for IVECO sixth win over two weeks and still have successfully overcome a series of tests, with which he was confronted on some stages, ending the race for eighth place.

The pilot of Kazakhstan Arthur ardavichus, driving an IVECO Powerstar, gradually rising in the overall standings and finished the race on fourth place.

Ton van Genugten and Arthur ardavichus of the team PETRONAS De Rooy IVECO was included in the top ten riders. The Dutch pilot van Genugten won three stages, including the final special stage,
and in the end took 8 th place in the overall standings.

His partner on the team Arthur ardavichus has demonstrated stable results at the entire rally, thanks to which has improved its position in the classification, in the end, having completed its "Dakar 2018" at fourth place. This is the second successful result of the rider after his debut in the team PETRONAS De Rooy IVECO at the rally "silk road 2017", where he also took fourth place.

Federico Villagra had a great race with victories in two stages in the total
8 places on the podium and up to a certain point was in the lead in rally, but unfortunately, he was forced to leave the race on the penultimate stage.
