The Volvo Group was formed in 1927, and the first truck of this brand saw the light a year later. Manufacturing commercial vehicles medium and heavy-duty unit of Volvo Truck Corp. In the Volvo automotive Group includes such companies as Renault Trucks, Mack and UD Trucks (formerly Nissan Diesel).
Volvo Truck Corp. for over 35 years, operates in our country: the first Volvo trucks were purchased in 1973 for the transport company "Sovtransavto". In the first half of the 2010s Volvo Group is completely updated model range of Volvo trucks. A new generation of delivery trucks Volvo FL for local and short regional transportation was launched in may 2013. Updated FL received a restyled cabin design in a new shaped Volvo, upgraded interior and new engines to meet Euro-6. Version with lifting capacity of 12 tons is equipped with a new 4-cylinder D5K engine capacity of 210 or 240 HP, more lifting modifications set 6-cylinder D8K engine, developing 250 or 280 HP gear Box to choose from: robot-I-Sync-manual or automatic. Version for the full weight of 12 to 18 t, the length of the wheelbase for the chassis – in the range from 3250 to 6800 mm (13 modifications). Model Brake system, except ABS will be also equipped with ESP.
Distribution and medium-range Volvo FE with a new generation of engines Euro 6 was presented simultaneously with the "younger" models FL in may 2013. The current generation received the cab from FL to styling in the corporate style Volvo. In the model range includes the new FE 4x2 truck tractor (total mass up to 44 t), a truck or chassis 4x2 (full weight up to 18 t) truck chassis or 6x2 or 6x4 (total weight up to 26 tons). The D8K engine (Euro 6) develops 250, 280 or 320 HP, transmission – 6 - or 9-speed manual, 12-speed "robot" I-Shift or 6-speed automatic transmission, cab – "day" is short and sleeping cabin internal length 2.0 or 2.2 m. In the brake system provides ESP. The flagship of the FE series since the autumn of 2017 will be the version of the 350 with power front 9-ton axle and an engine capacity of 350 HP.
