The oldest Chinese car manufacturer China FAW Group Corporation – started in 1953 with the production of chetyrekhtomnym the Soviet ZIS-150, which received the local name Jiefang ("Liberation") and for many years remained the main truck of China. The group produces trucks and chassis of all classes and exports them to more than 50 countries. In 2015, it was sold to 173.4 thousand trucks, chassis and tractors of the FAW all classes. By the way, in the segment of tractors (65.2 thousand in 2015) FAW a strong leader on the national market. In 2016, the company produced 238,8 thousand trucks of all classes, and in the segment of tractors (124,1 thousand) increased his lead even more. In April 2017, the company FAW announced the successful completion of the testing of heavy truck with semi-Autonomous control, developed by R & D center in Changchun, and enabling the machine to independently detect obstacles, traffic lights, road signs, on their own to accelerate, brake and perform the rebuild and overtaking in traffic not under the control of the driver, and the computer. In Russia, the Chinese company came in the summer of 2007 with a wide range of delivery models for small and medium-duty trucks, heavy three - and four-axle trucks and dump trucks, truck tractors with a 4x2 and 6x4.
