Глава Ferrari заверил почитателей – никакой массовой «турбонизации» не будет!
If we analyze the current automotive market, it is becoming clear that the Ferrari remains one of the few manufacturers of sports cars do not use turbos in its engines. Even such advocates of "atmosferico" as BMW or Mercedes-Benz – and they surrendered to the temptation of mass introduction of turbines, because the boost on many fronts "makes" the engine without excessive pressure. But that does not say – none of the turbo engine and some were not "aspirated" V12 with its smooth traction and fantastic "baritone" release. At least so say the fans of naturally aspirated engines, and we tend this opinion to agree...
Ferrari is a brand built on tradition, that is why the leadership does not want to adhere to the modern trends, especially if they are incompatible with the foundations. However, today we see in the line of engines of the internal combustion engine turbocharged production Ferrari, but they are extremely rare and only in V8 configuration.
As for the hybrid propulsion, the Ferrari just here at the forefront of progress with its first hybrid hypercar LaFerrari, keeping up with the same Porsche or McLaren. Today it is clear that the LaFerrari was only the first "swallow" Ferari V12 with a new era hybrid.
In spite of that, Ferrari will sell cars with a V12, even if the gasoline, suppose, will cost more than 12-year-old whiskey. The Italians know perfectly well that sooner or later emission standards will become so strict that you have to think of something. One of relief – as it turned out, the standards for the norms of emission of pollutants in the emissions are not so strict to small-scale producers.
In fairness it should be noted that in 2021, the expected new stricter emissions standards, but by this time (or rather, 2019), all with a Ferrari V12 should be a hybrid.
"We always offer our customers with atmospheric V12. Our head of engines told me that there were no turbines, this engine will not. In this connection it is necessary to stop all speculations about our V12. He'll stay atmospheric, but coupled with a hybrid power plant," said Sergio Marchionne, head of Ferrari.
Michael Leiters, technical Director of Ferrari, recently said that the shows this spring 812 new Ferrari Superfast with atmospheric V12 fulfills the standards EU6B, which will operate in Europe for another four years.
All fans of the brand need to have patience, and most importantly – to continue to believe that the leaders of Ferrari, no less customers are interested in preserving traditions.
