And now it became known that this engine was adapted for aircraft. About the unusual news was announced by Director General of the Central Institute of aviation motors (CIAM) named. P. I. Baranov Mikhail Gordin in an interview with "RIA Novosti".

said Mr. Gordin, the CIAM has already signed a contract with the Ministry of industry and trade to carry out works under the designation of "Adaptation". In their framework it is planned to turn the car engine in aviation.
