According to the website f1news, the organizers of the legendary rally-RAID Dakar announced the postponement in the season 2020 marathon on the territory of Saudi Arabia. The first information about the migration of the race from South America to the middle East appeared in the beginning of the year, but today it was officially confirmed.
The organizers in the face of the ASO (Amaury Sport Organization), has entered into a five-year contract with Saudi Arabia, explained his decision: "After 30 years of discoveries of the beauty of Africa and decades of adventures and exploration of the spectacular landscape of South America, begins a new Chapter in the history of the Dakar.
