Arrinera Hussarya GT – from Poland with love?

The first two copies of the first Polish supercar Arrinera Hussarya GT delivered to customers.

The story of the first Polish supercar Arrinera Hussarya (read as "Arenera of Hussaria") began in 2008, when the Polish automotive journalist Peter Frankovsky was born the idea to create a real racing car "Polish origin". To it were attracted the most famous in Britain, the Creator of the eponymous sports cars, guy noble, there were investors, mostly from the US and are mainly of Polish origin (unsurprisingly), and finally in 2011 took place the presentation of the real model, at first unnamed (just Arrinera), and the name of Hussarya (in honor of the hussars, cavalry that is cavalry) appeared only in 2012.

Construction and design constantly improved, but in spite of all obstacles, frankivskiy still managed to submit in January 2016 at the auto show Autosport International in Birmingham is already prepared in small batch production car. In short, a sad story of domestic "Marusya" in the case of "Hussaria", apparently, was not repeated, although now the company is based in the British Kimbolton (County of Cambridge). 

Another year was spent on fine-tuning design and test (by the way, this company Arrinera has helped the famous Scottish racing driver, Anthony Reid), lit Hussarya GT at the festival in Goodwood in the summer of 2016 and in February 2017 was announced first two actual completed orders. Interestingly, each client is invited to the factory for customized fit cradle driver, like in Formula 1.

Specifications commodity Arrinera Hussarya GT are – overall dimensions 4745х2050х1176 mm wheelbase 2735 mm, dry weight – 2250 kg, body type monocoque Kabanova composite, homologated according to FIA GT3 specifications,  located longitudinally ahead of the rear axle naturally aspirated V8 engine with a volume of 6.0 l block-based LS (Chevrolet Corvette) with a capacity of more than 505 HP, racing sequential 6 speed manual gearbox Hewland LLS with shift paddles, Alcon brake discs with a diameter of 380 mm and 6-piston calipers. The price of the car is $229 000.
