The new rules can enter into force in 2019
Often, motorists involved in an accident, are afraid to use the European accident report, even for minor damage to vehicles. At the same time, this document is gradually becoming more popular. And in the near future the interior Ministry will consider is that to fully translate to the europrotocol the registration of accidents in which there are no victims.
"the traffic police is interested in the expansion of the Institute evroprotokola, as an independent registration of road accident road traffic will reduce the burden on officers. This will allow them to focus on the performance of official duties related to the prevention, detection and suppression of offenses in the field of road safety," — said representatives of the interior Ministry.
Similar information came from the Ministry of Finance. In late February, the initiative was announced by Deputy Finance Minister Alexei Moiseev.
At this moment, the amount of payments on CTP in the framework of the Euro Protocol may not exceed 50 000 rubles. At the same time, with June 1, 2018 comes into force a new version of the law, according to which the limit is increased to 100 000.
At the same time, for residents of Moscow, St. Petersburg, Moscow and Leningrad regions in the case of providing data for GLONASS or other global navigation satellite systems, the amount of payments for the Euro Protocol can reach 400 000, that is, to reach up to the upper limit for insurance.
The following year, the regulation of payments on the Euro Protocol will be once again changed. So, on October 1, 2019 can be issued the document, even if the drivers do not come to a consensus about which of them is the culprit.
