In Russia recorded growth of road accident with participation of drivers of visitors

The last few years, representatives of the traffic police warn about the gradual reduction in the number of accidents in Russia. But now experts are sounding the alarm for a new reason: the rate of accidents involving visiting drivers. We are talking mainly about the citizens of the CIS countries.

Fresh statistics shared research center of road safety of the MIA of Russia. For 2017 on the roads of our country was 169,4 thousand accidents with victims (-2,5 % compared to 2016), which killed 19 million people (-6 %), injured thousands 215,3 (-2,6 %).

Despite the overall reduction of accidents, one of the negative trends became "the deterioration of the situation related to the accident because of traffic violations by drivers—citizens of the CIS countries". In 2017 their number increased to 4.2 thousand (+4.2 percent). The earthquake killed 524 people, injured thousands of 5.93.

In an interview with "Kommersant", first Deputy Chairman of the Duma Committee on state building Vyacheslav Lysakov explained to this sad statistics: "They come solely to work, in a hurry and badly know traffic regulations. Solutions to this problem do not see. Traffic gradually deprived of authority, soon no one will stop the violations. From the camera can be bought off for 5 thousand rubles".

Another reason for the growth of road accident with participation of drivers of this category called the Main expert of the National Advisory Council on the training and testing of drivers Alexander Lytkin. He believes that even with the existing problems with the training of drivers in Russia, at us it is on a professional level. In a number of CIS countries, the training process is virtually absent and has long been a formality, and a driver's license get agreement.

At the research center of road safety of the MIA of Russia admitted that by the end of 2018, the number of crashes involving visiting drivers can once again grow, because now this problem is not given attention. Moreover, in 2017 the citizens of Belarus and Kyrgyzstan are allowed to run drivers in Russia, not passing exams in the traffic police. In this case, they are allowed to use the certificate obtained in their country. Visitors from other countries need to study and take the exam. While informed in the state traffic Inspectorate called a frightening statistic: only 10 % of drivers pass the test the first time.
