The Supreme court reasoned ordinary motorists and the new regulations of traffic police

Entered into force the Supreme court's decision allowing the use of automatic cameras in the area of the temporary signs.

Earlier, the Supreme court addressed a citizen Armen Gevorgyan with the claim about recognition invalid some points of the Administrative regulations of the Ministry of interior for supervision of traffic. The plaintiff asked to recognize illegal the new regulations of traffic police in the part of paragraph 78, which allows you to apply automatic photo and video recording in places of installation of temporary road signs. In previous regulations, such actions were prohibited.

However, the Supreme court acknowledged that speeding is a traffic violation regardless of the type of mark, stipulating the restriction. The plaintiff's arguments that application of means of auto-commit in areas where traffic restrictions set temporary signs, do not comply with section 8 of Annex 1 to the Rules of the road, the Supreme court also considered unfounded.

Under section 8 of Annex 1 to the Regulation plate 8.23 the "photo, video" used in conjunction with listed in this warning signs, special regulation signs and prohibitory signs, and traffic lights. She pointed out that in the area of the sign or on the road segment may be automatically photovideo fixing violations. The responsibility for speeding provided in article 12.9 of the Code of administrative offences, and a traffic sign does not play any role.
