The traffic police are considering the possibility of a substantial tightening of the exam to receive a driver's license. This was told the head of traffic police of Russia Mikhail Chernikov.

a "It will be a strict examination, clearly giving to understand how the driver copes with the stream of vehicles", — said Mr Chernikov.

There is no accurate information about how it will change evaluation criteria. At the same time, Mikhail Chernikov noted that many students are experiencing serious difficulties with the second part of the practical exam, that is, when driving on urban roads.

It is expected that in future the inspectors taking the exam will closely resemble the refereeing acquired student skills. Primarily this will involve the ability to navigate in city traffic. During the first part of the practical test, while maneuvering on the ground, the traffic police will not be so carefully to monitor the implementation of key elements.

Mikhail Chernikov added that the majority of inspectors expressed support for the proposed innovation. At the same time, the reform of the practical exam can last: "this process is not one day or one month".

Apparently, reforms driving exams are only gaining momentum. It's not the only change that was discussed in the government. Earlier, Mikhail Chernikov also told about the intention to merge the two part practical test (site and city) into a single complex. a "I Think it will allow you to output a more competent driver and to minimize accidents", — concluded the head of the traffic police.
