Held in Budapest 33rd European educational contest on studying and observance of traffic rules defeated two Russian teams of students. The gold medal went to the team of the Tyumen region, the silver guys from the Republic of Tatarstan. The news was announced by the press service of the traffic police.

In total, the competition involved 24 teams from 23 countries. They all consisted of students aged 10 to 12 years. The contest lasted several days, during which the participants competed in knowledge of traffic rules and practical skills of figured driving of the Bicycle. Also, young "inspectors" assorted real-world traffic situations.

In 2018, the jury awarded two second places. Along with one of the Russian teams (she represented the all-Russian society of motorists) on the second step come up the students from Latvia. "Bronze" went to the team from Serbia.

The European educational competition on traffic rules for children has been held since 1985. Russian students take part in it since 2002. Earlier the guys from our country have become Champions: they took the "gold" in 2010, 2011 and 2015. Last year the team of young traffic inspectors of Tatarstan and Tyumen region has risen to the top winners, taking second and third places respectively.
