Came into force the Russian Federation government decree of 12 February 2018, which tightens the requirements for vehicle passing inspection.

In particular, now the vehicle must be equipped with not only a warning triangle and a fire extinguisher, but the first aid kit. Although the previous version of the rules of inspection first aid kit was not mandatory, it still had to be present in the vehicle during its operation: for its lack of a penalty in accordance with article 12.5 of the code of administrative offences.

Also station of inspection must now more strict approach to the assessment of the vehicle chassis. For example, do not use the car for defects and damage of steering: "leakage of the working fluid in the hydraulic system steering is not allowed". In this case, if the machine is used studded tires, then it needs to be shod all-wheel drive (previously you could set the studs on only one axle).

Lawmakers also paid attention to the review of driver side. The rules of the inspection, there is a point: "not allowed dismantling provided by the manufacturer of the vehicle wiper and washer". In addition, do not use the machines with modified optics: colored or colorless optical parts or pasted on the headlight film. Curious how will this measure be interpreted on the ground, because some motorists prefer a "book" lighting your car with a special film.

Also changes in item 65. If you had allowed recorded calipatria (we are talking about leaks in the engine, transmission, gearboxes, axles, clutch, battery and other units) with a speed of no more than 20 drops per minute, you can now use a simple phrase — "no dropping the oils and hydraulic fluids". It turns out that passing the inspection machine can not leak at all.
