New driving licences will introduce to support electronic industry

Soon the interior Ministry will start issuing driving licenses of the new sample. They will be equipped with a special microchip and new degrees of protection. On innovation writes "Newspaper".

According to the draft order "On the driving license and registration certificate of the vehicle (STS) with electronic carriers of information" driving licence of the new sample will be produced on a plastic base. The results will be engaged in divisions of the state traffic Inspectorate with the necessary technical capabilities for their design.

The inscription on the new rights will be duplicated in English and French. As a protection method to be used is a stylized image of the steering wheel, which will change color from pink to green depending on angle of view.

According to previously published data, the interior Ministry was planning to purchase 18 million forms of driver's licenses of the new sample and microarray to them. The total cost was estimated at 7.3 billion rubles. It turns out that one copy costs the state 405 rubles. And the fee for issuing a month ago, was approved in the amount of 3 000 rubles.

In the official sources provide other estimates. For example, in the explanatory note to the draft order specifies that in 2018 MIA buy 10 000 forms to WOO the new sample for the sum of 2,6 million rubles. In this case, the cost of one set is only 260 rubles.

No less interesting is another fact. The draft specifies that the introduction of new rights based on the implementation of the measures stipulated by the plan of guaranteed procurement of civil microelectronics products in the medium term, developed pursuant to the instructions of the President of Russia of September 29, 2015. It turns out that at the expense of ordinary drivers in the country will be supported by the microelectronics industry.
