In an interview with "Kommersant" Deputy mayor for transport Maxim Liksutov said that the rumors about the introduction of paid zones in the courtyards of the houses are just a myth.

For example, traffic in London has decreased by about 30 %, Stockholm — almost 40% after the introduction of the congestion charge.
At the same time Mr. Liksutov stressed that the governments of the cities where restrictions are imposed, vigorously develop public transportation, since residents are required to provide a convenient alternative to personal car.
In an interview touched on another important topic — commissioning of electrical transport. The government is not the first dot is testing electric buses, but still stuck at the level of experiments. The situation will begin to change in autumn. In the first competition it was decided to purchase 100 electric buses "GAZ" and 100 "KAMAZ". The producers are required to advertise their models for 15 years. In total innovative transport will be applied on 70 routes.
Moreover, 2021 Moscow has refused purchases of diesel buses and will finally switch to electric. It turns out that with an average lifespan of seven to eight years to 2028-2029 year in the capital will be operated only buses.
