The leaders — premium brands
It is considered that the owners of certain brands of cars violate traffic rules more often. However, in most cases such assumptions based only on subjective impressions. The portal shtrafy-gibdd.ru decided to go to study this problem in more detail. He examined data on fines for 2017 and determined the owners of the cars practiced in more aggressive driving.
The final list includes 16 of the most "stratopause" brands. They are not determined by the total number of violations recorded, and their density, i.e. the average number of penalties on each registered vehicle. It turned out that the TOP 15 included only foreign cars.
The "stratopause" brands of steel Infiniti, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi and Lexus. In the middle, their owners were from 5 to 11 penalties for 2017. Next, with a small gap from each other followed by Skoda, Ford, Land Rover, Volvo, Subaru, Honda, Mazda, Toyota and Nissan, which account for 3-4 violations.
It is noteworthy that the experts also considered specifically the motorists, who are more likely to receive a fine from 2 500 roubles, that is, commit more dangerous violations. The top five remained the same: Infiniti, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi and Lexus. Further the participants of the "hit parade" has changed a little: Land Rover, Volvo, Kia, Skoda, Ford, Hyundai, Porsche, Nissan, Volkswagen and Opel.
Experts drew attention to the fact that any counting cars premium brands break more often. Thus, the fact that they account for the bulk of the "expensive" penalties, suggests that the existing punitive measures are not afraid of wealthy motorists.
How can you find a way out of this situation? Most often the discussion revolves around two provisions. First, discussion of a progressive scale of fines, in which each subsequent violation will be more expensive the previous. Second, many believe the true the introduction of a certain "limit" the number of fines in which the driver's license will simply be removed. While such measures are not taken, many drivers will continue to feel its permissiveness.
