For several years traffic fines in Russia, you can pay discounted: it is enough to repay the funds within 20 days from the date of the judgment. In this case, the value of the penalty is reduced by half. A lot of people enjoy this indulgence. But in practice there is often another problem: the letters, fines can go a very long time. So if the driver received a notice after 20 days, it automatically missed the opportunity to save money. Now the government is going to accept the amendment, according to which you can use this discount even if the letter was longer than 20 days.

While we are talking only about the bill but at the current moment it is already approved by the Commission on legislative activities and submitted for consideration to the state Duma. It is proposed to amend article 31.8 and 32.2 of the administrative code, which would enable to pay administrative fines in half if the mail came at the expiration of the 20 day period.

However, to obtain the coveted 50-percent discount will still have a little trouble: this benefit will be restored automatically, but only at the request of the person, brought to administrative responsibility.

It turns out that for the slowness of mail will ultimately have to pay motorists: don money, time and nerves. However long there is a simple way out: not to miss the grace period, payment penalties, you need to take help of modern services. It can be a portal of state services or a third-party site which sends e-mail or phone notifications about a new penalty.
