Earlier, interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev at a meeting of the Russian President with government members have reported the development of his Department a number of serious proposals aimed at reducing deaths on the roads. So, he said: "through the work we provide a number of very serious and hard of proposals aimed at lowering mortality rates during accidents. We rely on complex measures already taken and the upcoming application that will allow us to significantly reduce the mortality on the road."
P. S. In particular we are talking about increasing prison sentences for drivers who in a drunk driving accident where there are fatalities, and the maximum term is going to increase to 15 years.
As for the confiscation: of course, drunken driving is not the place of road accident with victims – the same murder, only with another type of weapon (in this case a car), but now, not only will our sad habit of the new regulation on the confiscation of the vehicle "trough" for dishonest employees of an appropriate Agency?
