The traffic police are developing a mobile application for registration of road accidents

The need for simplification of registration of road accident is long overdue. Thus arose the need to create a mobile application through which owners will be able to arrange an accident, to send the data to the insurer and to receive insurance payments.

"Today, software products are being developed that will allow smartphone and record the incident, send to the insurance company and to receive all payments," – said the TV channel "Russia-24" new beginning head of the state traffic Inspectorate of MIA of Russia Mikhail Chernikov.

Making "paper" evroprotokol had to simplify it, but anyway there were some difficulties. In turn, the ability to record the incident with a smartphone with mobile Internet will deprive the participants of the accident loss of time.

The Minister said that at the moment, insurance companies together with traffic police develop an algorithm preventing the possibility of fraud during the registration of an accident on evroprotokol and a smartphone with a special application.

We will remind, recently in the law on insurance was amended, which require drivers to use evroprotokol even in the event of a dispute as to the guilt of the accident. In addition, the amendments to the law the possibility of registration of road accidents with any number of cars.
