Deputy head of traffic police Vladimir Shvetsov has not supported idea of the Ministry of transport for the separation of drivers into enthusiasts and professionals

In an interview to "RIA Novosti" Deputy head of traffic police Vladimir Shvetsov spoke negatively about the idea of additional separation of drivers in professional and Amateur categories. He said: "Categorically against. Because the drivers all have to be professional." He quite reasonably believes that such separation can affect the quality of driver training, as currently, all prepared by the driving schools citizens receive documents stating that they were professional drivers.
Until 6 may is a public discussion of the draft amendments to the law "On road safety" initiated by the Ministry of transport with the purpose of separating drivers into enthusiasts and professionals employed.
The point here is that the Ministry of transportation intends to lead the training for drivers-lovers of the law "On education", which will not be considered training in a driving school of the educational process. And, here, drivers-professionals for work on the transport of goods or passengers, will have to go through further training courses and not once in obtaining the rights, and every five years. The first version of this bill, the Ministry of transport razrabotal in 2017.
