The traffic police started to fine drivers for stopping on waffle irons

Over three hundred letters "letters" has already received the violators of the marking of the "waffle iron" on the sole of the Moscow intersection

For the first month of operation (March – ed.) the only cameras fotovideofiksatsii violations over the wafer marking at the intersection of the Garden ring and orlikova lane in Moscow were recorded 214 violations. This was announced by the traffic police. At the same wafer marking very different configuration in the capital struck at 103 intersections.

Cameras fotovideofiksatsii track long stop at the "waffle markup" since March 1. So check out the markup of this type in prohibiting the traffic signal, as well as a long stop to it the penalty is ₽1000. Administrative cases, respectively, excited by part 1 of article 12.13 of the administrative code of Russia, according to which "it is forbidden to leave the intersection, crossing the roadway or portion of the intersection designated by the markup of 1.26, if there is EN route congestion, which will force the driver to stop, creating an obstacle for movement of vehicles in the transverse direction, with the exception of turning right or left in the cases established by these rules".

Interestingly, in the second month of the camera operation, i.e. in April, recorded only 106 of these "waffle" violations, and motorists they are not challenged (and received them in March).

In the penalty decision, which is sent to the motorist should be attached six photos of the violation with date and time: four images of the violation pattern of the trajectory, including increased frame of the machine and review the frame with the car, which created a hindrance, as well as photographs of the operation of traffic lights. In addition, each such violation is recorded on video, if the driver wants to contest the fine.
