Increased speed in the North-East chord

The speed limit on two sections of WTS were raised by 20 km/h

Capital Center of the organisation of traffic (TSODD) reported that from 26 September on two sites North-East chord in Moscow raised the ceiling of the speed limit from 60 km/h to 80 km/h.

The speed limit was higher on the section of Expressway from Moscow to Dmitrov highway, as well as from Losinoostrovskaya street to MKAD. Every day on these intervals, the length of which is 24.7 km, passing more than 140 thousand cars.

The innovation was possible as in these areas there is a separation barrier and there is no ground pedestrian crossings, making for the last two years in these areas is not recorded any fatal accidents.

According to TMS on the road already, installing appropriate road signs and reconfiguration of complexes of fixing of violations.
