But in some places slower
some of the Moscow highway the speed limit will be increased from the current 60 km/h to 80 km/h On such a decision of the Moscow Department of transport has told the Vice-mayor of Moscow Maxim Liksutov, whose words leads "Kommersant".
For example, the upper limit rises to 80 km/h on the Warsaw highway on the section from the Nagatinskaya street to Kashirsky highway from MKAD to Moldavskogo travel. However, to talk about improving the traffic situation does not have to: the city authorities just return the old speed limit, which was reduced due to the reconstruction and repair work.
But the "maximum speed" can be increased and some new areas. In particular, we are talking about outbound motorways: the expense of getting rid of ground pedestrian crossings and the extension of the road managed to reduce the accident rate, which allows to increase the speed limit.
At the same time on some Central streets will set a limit to 40 km/h. This solution Maxim Liksutov explained by the fact that the flow rate should not be more than 60 km/h. And as for exceeding the speed within 20 km/h in the current edition of the SDA is not provided penalties, the signs should be placed taking into account that many drivers will drive faster than they should.
the Decision to reduce the maximum speed on some Moscow streets to take on the basis of voting in the "Active citizen". The final results will be published before the end of autumn.
