The head of the "Avtodor" Vyacheslav Petushenko in an interview with RIA Novosti said that the fare on the new high-speed road M-11 IA category, which should link Moscow with St. Petersburg, will cost drivers of passenger cars in the amount of "only" about ₽to 2000, i.e. about ₽2.9 per km.
By assumption, the top Manager of this amount will match the fare on a weekday and in case of cash payment. If you use loyalty programs and transponders the fare may be considerably lower (in different areas from 20 to 40%).
High-speed highway M-11 with a length of 684 km away from businovskaya junction (junction of the Northern end of the North-East Expressway and the ring road) via Moscow (90 km), Tver (253 km), Novgorod (233 km) and Leningrad (75 km) area to the junction of the ring road and Pulkovskoe highway.
After the construction of the motorway M-11 highway M-10 "Russia" will be a free backup. Meantime, major traffic flows between Moscow and Saint-Petersburg and the Karelia, Estonia and Finland are on the highway M-10.
The construction of the highway M-11 was established in 2010 and only in the end of 2019, intend, finally, to pass all sections of the road – 150 km from St. Petersburg to Novgorod and 80 kilometers of bypass Tver from the North.
