Regional roads will be passed to the Agency

About 17.5 thousand of regional roads will come under the management of the Federal road Agency by 2031

Deputy head of the construction and operation of the Federal road Agency Paul belly on the results of the Russian-Kazakh exercises for road safety in the Astrakhan region, said that: "we Have approved a comprehensive plan for the development of the Federal road network. According to him, by 2031, the Federal network will be taken in the order of 17.5 thousand km of roads. In the Astrakhan region, particularly in the Federal property will go part of the road Astrakhan – Krasny Yar".



The development of a network of Federal roads according to the Federal road Agency is divided into three stages: in 2018-2021 years in Federal custody will be handed over 9.2 thousand km of roads, in 2022-2026 and 5.5 thousand km, and the rest (about 3 thousand km) up to 2031. This transfer of regional roads in the Federal property, according to authorities, will enable them properly to repair and improve the quality of the coating, which naturally should reduce the number of road accidents due to the state of the roads.



According to the data announced by Bruhova to the end of the year roughly at 82.8% of Federal roads will begin to meet regulatory requirements (currently 80%), and by 2020 this figure will increase to 85%.



Currently, the length of the network of Federal roads in Russia is equal to 53.6 thousand km, of which the Federal road Agency owned by 50,7 thousand km, and the rest fall to the share of the state company "Avtodor". Earlier the Agency has informed that by 2030, expects to m inimum to reduce the number of accidents and number of fatalities.



Russian-the Kazakhstan doctrines "Ensuring safe and unimpeded traffic on roads in emergency situations" was held for the third time. This time they started in Astrakhan on September 6. For example, in the practical part of the exercise on 7 September, near the Russian-Kazakh border in the area of the regional motor road Astrakhan – Krasny Yar was worked out to eliminate the consequences of the collapse of the bridge.
